The Bermudian waste and refuse removal business called QRS owned by Island Waste Management Ltd. has been bought by Joe Vieira, and a new company called QRS Ltd. has been formed.
Many residents will know Joe as the long-time owner of Joe Vieira Trucking Ltd. which has been serving their loyal customers for the past 25 years.
Mr. Vieira stated: “As a result of customer requests for additional trucking and haulage services, I have been actively looking at various options in order to expand strategically.”
“QRS currently provides products and services that we also provide so this acquisition made sense for us as it will allow us to expand our customer offering whilst remaining true to our original goal of providing competitive trucking services backed by our friendly, knowledgeable and experienced staff.”
“This change of ownership will ultimately result in better products and services for our customers as we will have more resources available as additional trucks and dumpsters in a variety of sizes are added to the Fleet.”
“QRS will continue to operate from our Industrial Park location and the existing team remains in place to provide the customer service you have become accustomed to.”
“Customers can book and pay for dumpsters online at www.qrs.bm or call for service on 532 3278 or 232 3278. However, please note the email for ordering service has changed to orders@qrs.bm. There will be additional contacts brought on-line in the future and of course we will communicate those as they are.”
