Local Docs Learn How to Assist MS Patients Further

HealthCare Services [BHCS] and Brown-Darrell Clinic continued their quarterly Docs for Dinner series on June 29 at the Hamilton Princess Hotel & Beach Club, with a lecture by Dr. Matthew McAdams, Director of the Multiple Sclerosis Center at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.

BHCS Founder and Executive Chairman Dr. Ewart Brown stated “Dr. McAdams’ talk was phenomenal. His research is leading the way in diagnosing and treating multiple sclerosis. We are pleased to provide the opportunity for doctors with patients in Bermuda to learn more about MS.”

 

Docs for Dinner enables local doctors to interact with leading medical professionals from abroad to exchange ideas and cutting-edge medical information.

 

The event has proven to be popular as it plays a vital role in the continuing education of Bermuda’s medical fraternity.

 

Over 30 physicians attended the Dinner and presentation titled “The Role of Imaging in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. Carolyn Armstrong, President of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Bermuda, also was in attendance.
