NSC North Field closed for Men’s Rugby national team Friendly

The North Field at the National Sports Centre will be closed on Saturday 21 August from 6:00pm -9:00pm and again on Sunday 22 August from 8:30am – 2:00pm, for walkers, joggers and other recreational users as it hosts the Senior Men’s National Rugby 7s team as they face international friendly competition in a warm-up exercise ahead of a major tournament in October.

This is a safe key event and to ensure that government mandated protocols are being met, the field will be closed to anyone not involved with the program.

Craig Tyrrell, the NSC Operations Manager, said: “We are delighted to be able to host this event, but it does mean that, for a short time, the North Field will have to be closed to walkers and joggers. We do apologise for any inconvenience and thank everyone in advance for their support.”
