Norwegian Joy First Visit to Bermuda

Last week, the Minister of Transport, the Hon. Wayne L. Furbert JP, MP, welcomed Captain Hakan Svedung on the occasion of Norwegian Joy’s first call of the season to Bermuda. The Norwegian Joy arrived on May 17 from New York with 4,334 passengers.

Minister Furbert said, “NCL is one of our most important partners in the cruise ship industry. In my discussions with NCL senior executives, we know our partnership has proven to be mutually beneficial. We are pleased that NCL is estimated to bring 91  calls to Bermuda between their brands and weather permitting this year.”
