No case to answer for couple accused of assaulting minors

A submission of nolle prosequi was entered into Magistrates Court in the cases of a Southampton woman Anthanay Steede and Pembroke man Damon Morris who had been charged with a string of offences against minors, including allegations of neglect, assault and threatening behaviour.

The submission by prosecutors mean that the 34-year-old man and 36-year-old female have no case to answer, with the charges eligible to be dismissed after a year.

Each individual had denied all charges made against them, which were said to have taken place between 2016 and 2024.
