Word coming to TNN this morning suggesting nine buses at the DPT Dockyard Bus depot had been vandalized. As we arrived on scene, police and DPT officials were on hand assessing the damage.
TNN sought a comment from DPT Director Roger Todd, who refused to provide one. Police have since issued a statement confirming that the incident is under investigation and we await further comment from the Minister of Transportation the Honorable Lawrence Scott, JP, MP or the department of communication (DCI).
We understand via social media that a total of nine buses were vandalized at the depot with all of the money dispensers broken into and money from inside those dispensers stolen.
TNN also understand that security cameras are at the facility, but it is unknown if any footage from those cameras have been shared with the police.
