New PLP Senator Sworn in today by Her Excellency Governor Lalgie

Today, we recognise the appointment of Senator Mischa Fubler as Junior Minister of the Cabinet Office and Public Works. This occasion not only marks the next step in Senator Fubler’s career but also affirms this government’s commitment to developing leadership for the future. Senator Fubler’s journey is a testament to the power of education and community engagement.

A product of Bermuda’s public education system, he began at Francis Patton and continued through Somerset Primary, Sandys Secondary Middle School, and CedarBridge Academy before pursuing higher education overseas. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from York University in Canada and a Master of Science in Information Systems from Brooklyn College in the United States.

Professionally, Senator Fubler has made contributions in the field of technology, leading a team of software developers as Assistant Vice President of Applications and Management Information at a Bermuda-based international reinsurance company. His expertise in this critical sector underscores his ability to think strategically and deliver results.

As Junior Minister of the Cabinet Office and Public Works, Senator Fubler brings to the table a fresh perspective and takes on a critical role in ensuring that the government’s operational priorities and infrastructure needs are met with innovation, efficiency, and a focus on improving the lives of Bermuda’s people.  To your family, your wife Gia and your two children, I thank them for sharing Senator Fubler with us. Public service demands sacrifice, not just from those who serve but also from their loved ones, and your support is deeply appreciated.

Senator Fubler, on behalf of the government, welcome to the team, and we look forward to your contributions not only in the Senate, but also the additional of your technical skills as you assist the Ministers of Public Works and the Cabinet Office. May you approach this new role with the same energy, focus, and determination that have defined your journey thus far.
