Around 3:50pm Tuesday, 15th September 2026, a reported two-vehicle collision occurred along Front Street, City of Hamilton, near King Street.
Police, Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service, as well as ambulance personnel responded.
It appears that a car driver was exiting a Front Street building’s parking garage, intending to travel east along Front Street, when the collision occurred with a motorcyclist, travelling in the westbound lane of Front Street.
Apparently, the westbound motorcycle then struck an unoccupied, parked motorcycle across the street.
The rider of the westbound motorcycle, understood to be a 19-year-old Warwick man and his pillion passenger, understood to be an 18-year-old Devonshire man, were both hurt.
They were transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, for medical care.
At last check, the younger teen remained hospitalised with a leg injury, while the older teen had been treated and discharged.
The car driver, understood to be a 51-year-old Paget woman, was not hurt.
The car and motorcycle directly involved in the collision were damaged.
The parked motorcycle was also damaged.
Traffic diversions were in effect for approximately two and a half hours, while the scene was processed.
As a result, many motorists in the City of Hamilton during that time, experienced delays in their commute home.
Inquiries continue regarding this collision and any additional witnesses are encouraged to call Constable Silvia Zbinova on 211, or e-mail szbinova@bps.bm.
