A mother speaks up in defense of her daughter and grandchild after being left stranded by two police officers during a traffic stop on Middle Road In Devonshire last evening.
I picked my daughter up from the bus stop with her screaming infant in her arms. Police should not be impounding cars over tint.
They did not offer her a ride home they offered her a ride to the impound. None of the officers were wearing a mask and they wanted her and her baby my grandson to sit in the back with a massive dog.
I am furious on how the police dealt with the situation. She has never been pulled over for tint. My daughter lost her job due to the pandemic and her little kia car gets hot in the sun.
Her friend put a strip of tint on the front to stop the car from getting too hot so she doesn’t have to burn unnecessary gas for the ac to keep her baby cool in the heat.
Police need to stop carrying on like bullying cowboys.
