Ministry of Education Extends Scholarship Deadline

The Ministry of Education has extended the deadline for submitting scholarships and awards applications to Monday, 15 April 2024, giving students more time to apply for these valuable opportunities.

A Ministry spokesperson said, “This year, $2 million was budgeted for scholarships and awards. For students currently studying abroad or planning to attend Bermuda College or colleges overseas, we wish to emphasise that it’s not too late to apply online, and the process is straightforward. The Ministry of Education understands the importance of providing opportunities for Bermudians and offers various scholarships and financial awards. This includes the Further Education Award for students enrolled in post-graduate studies. We encourage students studying post-secondary education to apply for scholarships and awards to ease the financial burden on them and their families.”
