“These past two years have been challenging for many, especially our seniors. Now that we are moving beyond the pandemic, we have planned a series of events focused on the needs and concerns of our seniors,” said the Hon. Tinee S. Furbert, JP, MP, Minister of Social Development and Seniors.
Minister Tinee Furbert added, “We understand that seniors are facing additional challenges in light of the rising cost of living. At this event, plan to have an informative and engaging discussion about senior concerns and how we can access workable solutions. Attendees will participate in an interactive presentation, senior-focused discussion and a question and answer period.”
The first “Talk and Tea” is scheduled for Friday, 26 August, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at St. Paul’s Church Hall in Paget. With a limited capacity of 80, participants must register their attendance with the Ministry of Social Development and Seniors Headquarters office at 444-2466 or email at msdshq@gov.bm . Questions can also be submitted in advance to msdshq@gov.bm.
