Minister Hayward Leads Bermuda Delegation at RIMS 2025 in Chicago

The Minister of Economy and Labour, Jason P. Hayward, JP, MP, is leading the Bermuda delegation at the 2025 Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) annual conference held in Chicago, Illinoisfrom May 4 to 7, 2025. RIMS is the world’s largest community dedicated to advancing risk management.

 

Titled RISKWORLD, the conference is the global centre of risk management. This prestigious event brings together more than 11,000 attendees from over 70 countries, 300 exhibitors from across the globe, and over 300 expert speakers.

 

Minister Hayward stated, “RISKWORLD 2025 provides Bermuda with an unparalleled platform to showcase our leadership in global risk management and reinforce why Bermuda remains the world’s risk capital. We are proud to once again demonstrate the strength and resilience of our financial services sector on this international stage.”

The delegation will participate in multiple business development and advocacy meetings, panel discussions, and media engagements throughout the conference. Notably, Minister Hayward will speak with organisations, including The Insurer, AM Best TV, the Insurance Insider, and Business Insurance, underscoring Bermuda’s innovation and leadership in risk solutions.

 

Minister Hayward is accompanied by representatives from the Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA), the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA), the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers (ABIR), the Association of Bermuda International Companies (ABIC), and leading industry executives.
