MAN UNINJURED AFTER CAR FLIPS ON ROOF IN ST DAVID’S

A 50-year-old St George’s man emerged unharmed after his car flipped on its roof near the Swing Bridge on St David’s Road.

Officers of the Bermuda Police Service (BPS) were called to to respond to the mishap around 11.30 am and discovered the man and his overturned vehicle, apparently due to wet roads.

“It appears that the car involved was being driven west along St David’s Road when the vehicle went off the road and overturned,” said a police spokesperson. “The driver, and only occupant of the car, said to be a 50-year-old St George’s man, was not hurt.”

The vehicle was later removed from the scene, with any witnesses to the incident asked to contact 211 or e-mail 211@bps.bm
