Man stabbed in City Park police appeal for witnesses

Around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2025, police and other first responders were dispatched to a reported disturbance at the Queen Elizabeth Park in the City of Hamilton.

Upon arrival, a male victim was found with a stab wound to his torso.

He was attended to at the scene by EMTS and subsequently transported to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where, at last check, he continued to receive treatment for his injuries.

A male suspect was arrested nearby and an item liable for seizure was found in his possession.
