Man Pleads Guilty To Causing Death By Careless Driving

Today in Supreme Court monthly arraignment session saw Christian Sousa-Matias pled guilty to causing the death of Allen Trott by Careless Driving back in September 19th, 2021 on South road at the junction with Duncan road Sousa-Matias of no fixed abode also plead guilty to riding a motorcycle  without third party insurance in the same accident, other charges include the fraudulent use of documents and driving an unlicensed motorcycle.

Puisne judge Sade Subair-Williams ordered that Sousa-Matias undergo a social inquiry and drug report, Christian Sousa-Matias represented by Elizebeth Christopher was remanded into custody and will return for mention during the June 1st arraignment session, Mr. Allen Trott was a 12th road fatality of 2022.

Also appearing in Supreme Court today was 28 year old Jahni Holder before Puisne Justice Sade Subair-Williams to face charges of blackmail between November 17th and November 24th last year, also a charge making unwarranted demands for the payment of money to Paolo Davis with menaces he faced another joint charge of intimidation or threatening Troy Davis with injury between November 27th of 2022. Jahni Holder plead not guilty to both charges. Holder was bailed as he awaits a trail date.
