Reports reaching TNN suggest one man suffered strap and chop wounds during an alleged home invasion in the Hamilton Parish area last night.
Details remain limited but indications are that the victim was attacked by a number of individuals who were armed with machetes and knives.
TNN understands the victim was taken to hospital, although the seriousness of his injuries have not been disclosed at this time. Although, TNN have been made aware that the victim is currently in the Intensive Care Unit at the King Edward Memorial Hospital.
TNN has reached out to police for comment and will provide an update when we receive that response.
