Man charged with wounding and possession of an offensive weapon in Magistrate Court

Appearing in Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, a 53 year old Pembroke man charged with unlawfully wounding a man and possession of an offensive weapon, namely a bat.

Jason Liburd pled not guilty to the two offences.

Senior Magistrate Maxanne Anderson set bail to sum of $5000 with a like surety. He is also required to report to the Hamilton Police Station on Tuesdays and Saturdays between the hours of 8am – 6pm.

Liburd will reappear back in court on the 22nd of July 2024 for mention and disclosure.
