A 60-year-old Sandys Parish man appeared in Magistrates Court today to answer three charges of threatening three jurors and another charge of threatening behavior.
Perry Smith pleaded not guilty to all four charges, it is believed that he allegedly committed these offenses on April 18, 2023, in and around the Lois Brown Evans Building.
Senior Magistrate Maxanne Anderson bailed the accused to the sum of 25 thousand dollars with a surety and was ordered not to have any contact with any of the complaints and any members of the DPP’s office.
Smith will reappear in court on May 29th 2023 at 2:30 pm
