Man charged with murder in Magistrates Court today

A 46-year-old Sandys Parish man was charged today in Magistrates Court with Saturdays murder of 49 year old Marco Perinchief, also of Sandys.

Ian Bascome, was charged with murdering Marco Perinchief, 49, near Clyde Best Lane on March 25st.

TNN News understands Ian Bascome us the owner and operator of  Westover Farms in Sandys.

Bascome was not required to enter a plea to the indictable offense, in which the case will be heard in the Supreme Court.

Magistrate Tyrone Chin order the case to be sent to the May 1st monthly arraignment sessions as he released Mr Bascome on $40,000 bail.

Bascome was also ordered to surrender his travel documents, attend the Hamilton Police Station three times a week, have no contact with any witnesses, and adhere to an 8pm-to-6am nightly curfew.

Mr Chin also ordered that Mr Bascome be given an electronic monitoring device when one becomes available.
