Appearing in Magistrates’ Court, a 53 year old Sandys man faced charges related to an alleged assault and threatening behavior.
Denton Parris was charged with unlawfully assaulting a woman on June 11, 2024. Additionally, he was accused of behaving in a threatening manner towards the same woman, reportedly shouting, “Say one more word and I will punch you,” while making a fist and attempting to punch her.
Parris pled not guilty to both charges. Magistrate Maria Sofianos set bail at $2,000 and imposed conditions on Parris, requiring him to stay away from the complainant.
