Man Charged With Ammunition Possession In Magistrates Court

Yesterday in Magistrate’s Court, 31-year-old Christopher Perinchief was charged with possessing 32 rounds of .38 SPL caliber ammunition on February 15 of this year without holding a license to do so at the time.

Since the charge is indictable and must be heard in the Supreme Court, Mr. Perinchief, from Smith’s, was not required to enter a plea.

The Worshipful Magistrate Tyrone Chin sent the case up to the Supreme Court, where it will be mentioned during the April 1st  arraignment sessions, Perinchief was bailed to the sum of $10,000 with a surety.
