Man charged with 65 fraudulent charges in Magistrate Court

A 58-year-old Southampton man appeared in Magistrates Court, facing 65 charges related to alleged fraudulent activity which began back in 2019.

Peter Clark, who elected his case to be heard in Magistrate Court, entered a plea of not guilty to all 65 charges brought against him.

The charges span various counts of alleged financial misconduct, although further details surrounding the case have yet to be made public.

During the court proceedings, Mr. Clark was granted bail, set at $20,000, with conditions attached to his release.

Mr. Clark is expected to return to Magistrates Court on October 21, where the case will proceed through the judicial process.
