Two individuals, a 25-year-old man from Devonshire and a 51-year-old woman, appeared in Magistrates’ Court charged in connection with alleged unlawful carnal knowledge involving a girl under the age of 14. TNN News can not identify any of the persons for legal reasons. Both elected to have their cases heard in Magistrates’ Court.
•The man faces three charges:
1. Between November 1, 2024, and December 31, 2025, in Bermuda, he allegedly had carnal knowledge of a girl under 14.
2. On March 16, 2026, in Devonshire, he allegedly engaged in sexual activity with the same girl, under 14, by touching her with his penis.
3. On March 19, 2026, in Sandys Parish, he allegedly had unlawful carnal knowledge of the girl under 14.
He pleaded not guilty to all three counts.
•The woman is charged with aiding the man in committing the alleged offenses between November 1, 2024, and March 20, 2026, in Bermuda. She also pleaded not guilty.
Both defendants were released on $3,000 bail, with instructions to have no contact with the complainant. Magistrate Maria Sofianos ordered the defendants to reappear in court on August 10, 2026.
