The 2021 Butterfield Bermuda Championship is in the books and Lucas Herbert is the 2021 Champion. Herbert, -15, posted a final score of 69 in the Championship Round Fueled by Rubis to win by one stroke over Patrick Reed and Danny Lee. Herbert, from Bendigo, Australia, claimed his first PGA TOUR win with rounds of 70-65-65-69=269.

Lee (-14) and Reed (-14) both finished at 270 for the tournament. Patrick Rodgers (-13) finished in solo fourth place while third round leader Taylor Pendrith (-12) finished T5 with Scott Stallings (-12). Stallings posted the low round of the day with a final round -9, 62. That tied the tournament record for lowest closing round.

Defending champion Brian Gay (-10) finished the tournament T12, just five strokes back of the winner. Gay shot 75-67-64-68=274 in his return to Port Royal Golf Course.

It was a record-setting week at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship as four new marks were established, led by Pendrith’s second round 61 (-10), which was a new tournament and course record. In addition, 12 records were tied, including the lowest back nine score of 29, which was equaled by Bermuda’s own Camiko Smith to start his second round.
