Liberty Group Limited (‘Liberty’ or the ‘Company’) has announced the appointment of Azeem Khan as Managing Director of AG Holdings Limited as of March 1, 2022.
Mr. Khan is an operational executive with over 20 years of experience in operations, business strategy and technology implementation in the Bermuda IT and telecoms industries. Mr. Khan was most recently Director of Information Technology at Liberty. Prior to joining Liberty, he successfully managed a local IT service integrator by creating new business opportunities, streamlining operations, and increasing revenue and net profit. Mr. Khan has also managed technical operations & service delivery for one of Bermuda’s largesttelecommunications companies. As an operation executive, he has worked with local and international partners and customers and has managed teams globally. As the Managing Director of AG Holdings, Mr. Khan will oversee the companies within the Group. This includesAIRCARE LTD, an HVAC company with a full range of climate control and energy products, iEPC Limited which provides engineering services, IFM Limited which provides facilities management services and ZEMOTO Limited which provide Bermuda residents and businesses with custom EV solutions.
Mr. Khan began his education at Warwick Academy and went on to receive a Master of Business Administration (MBA), with a specialisation in Operations Management from Pennsylvania State University. Some of his professional designations include a Graduate Certificate in Renewable Energy (EIT, AU), a Professional Certificate in Big Data and Analytics for Electricity Grids (EIT, AU), RCDD, Registered Communication and Distribution Designer (BISCI), CISM (ISACA) as well as a Project Management Associate Certification from ESI.
Azeem is passionate about community service and serves on several boards and charities including the Bermuda Parole Board, theBermuda Gymnastics Federation and the Technology Leadership Forum (Vice Chair). Azeem is dedicated to the community in which he grew up and works to support the training of and inspire Bermudians, especially in technology. Azeem is also a keen sportsman, having represented Bermuda in Cricket and Somerset in the annual Cup Match Classic.
