Good Friday is upon us and with kite flying an integral part of the Bermudian tradition a free kite give away has been organised by Sunshine After Dark in collaboration with The Give Back.
The second edition of the venture is providing both traditional and ‘bird kites’ to households, as well as popcorn, cotton candy and snowball snacks, on Wednesday, April 5 at the former TN Tatem Middle School, starting at 5.30 pm and will go on for as long as supplies last
There will also be fun castles and other youth orientated games and activities to be enjoyed at the location, while the Easter Bunny will also make an appearance from 6 pm-7pm.
“We had a great turn-out last year for the first event and this year we’re hopeful of another great turnout, ” Event Organizers Kamikko Ingham, Mahkinday Johansen , Anthony Bailey , Jonari Smith.
“We would like everyone to come out and enjoy the festivities.
