According to North Village club president Shervin Dill, Thompson is currently on “personal leave pending legal advice”.

As such Thompson has, for the time being relinquished duties as the club’s Director of Football, leaving Technical Director Marlon Dill in charge of what has long been one of the Island’s foremost development programs.

As for Thompson’s position as an assistant on Bermuda national team head coach Michael Findley’s staff the official status.

Questions posed to Bermuda Football Association president Mark Wade were referred to the governing body’s communications team, which is procedural protocol, with no response received by the time of this story posting.

TNN yet awaits a response from the BFA.
