Today in Supreme Court, convicted murderer Kamal Worrell was sentenced to life in prison and he is to serve 27 years before parole.
Supreme Court Puisne Judge Juan Wolffe, asked Worrell, “ Can you reveal what you did with Mrs. Dillon Burgess body as this would help to assist your son with closure, also Chavelle’s mom and grandmother and the rest of the family.”
Worrell had nothing to say.
TNN’s Trevor Lindsay spoke with Chavelle Dillon Burgess Grandmother after sentencing stated “ I just want to thank God we got some justice, we still don’t have closure but someone is held responsible.”
