Island’s Newest Pizzeria Offers Customers Something Different

Located on Serpentine Road, where the old Green Lantern restaurant was for decades, lies the island’s newest pizzeria, “ Fire & Slice.”
The pizzeria, according to owner Henry Harris, offers customers both individual slices and whole 14 inch pies of New York-style thin crust pizza.

Not a pizza lover? Not a problem, as they also offer patrons a large variety of sandwiches, beverages and snacks.

“ We have daily pizza specials, whether it is Chicken Tikka Masala, Philly Cheesesteak, buffalo chicken pizza, you name it, we got it,” Mr. Harris said. “ There is nothing that you cannot put on a pizza if you want to, and we have an offering and style that other [local pizzerias] do not, and I would encourage people to definitely give us a try.”

“ What makes Fire & Slice different from everyone else is that we make our pizza combining classic food and street food,” Amir, a chef at the pizzeria, said. “ Our crusts also have less calories and carbs [than the typical pizza].”

According to Amir, single slices take three minutes and whole pies do not usually take more than ten minutes to prepare.
Customers can place orders and have them delivered via the Sargasso and five-star home delivery websites. They can also call 295-5777 and of course stop by in person.

They are open Monday thru Saturday from 11 am until 9 pm and plan to also open on Sundays soon.
