Hundreds Turn Out for Canada Day Weekend Celebrations

Hundreds of Canadians flooded the south shore beaches this weekend to celebrate Canada Day in style.

According to Jen Campbell, everything went over very smoothly and organizers
were quite happy with how the day turned out.

“ We had music by DJ DeNice, volunteer bartenders serving drinks all day, bartenders serving food and tons of support from our vendors, KBB has been amazing with the trash management,” Ms. Campbell said.

“ We hope to leave the beach as clean as we found it. Next year, the celebrations will still be at Warwick Long Bay, because we love it here so much, but we
will work on making this event bigger and better for next year.”
