Hotel Industrial Accident Resulting In Man Falling from Scaffolding

At around 8:41 this morning, the Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service (BFRS) received information of an industrial incident at the Hamilton Princess Hotel and Beach Club, where a 50-year-old man fell six feet from scaffolding onto a concrete floor, landing on his head.

The man was subsequently taken to the hospital via ambulance.

According to BFRS staff officer Scott Quinn, the extent and condition of the man’s injuries is unknown at this point in time and a Government health and safety officer has been notified of the incident as an investigation has commenced into the industrial accident.
