Hemp Products Prove to Be Huge Success for Locals and Tourists Alike

A video is currently circulating throughout social media, allegedly depicting marijuana products
being sold at a local store.

TNN interviewed the owner of the store, who wishes to remain anonymous. They clarified that all products at the store are CBD/Hemp products and, as per local law, all contain less than 1 percent THC.

“ All products that we brought in have been inspected, checked and cleared by Customs,” they explained.

According to the shop owner, these products are used for various kinds of relaxation, but do not contain any kind of psychoactive ingredients. CBD can even be found in various drinks and wines on-island now, too.

The store was busy all day today, as people were anxious to try these products for themselves. The bottom line is that these products are 100 percent legal to sell and some people are even
selling similar products at Harbor Nights.
The 2019 Misuse of Drugs (hemp) Amendment Act made the import and sale of all hemp products (containing less than one percent of THC) legal in Bermuda.
