The Harrington Workmen’s Club is thinking of the families and neighbours who were shaken by the recent shooting in the Devil’s Hole area. This is our home too, and we share the community’s concern and sadness that something like this happened so close to where we all live.
We want to reassure the public that the incident did not take place at the Club and was not connected to our members or any activity here. The incident occurred at a private residence nearby, not on our property.
Our Club has always been a gathering place for fellowship, support, and positive community spirit. We stand with our neighbours in rejecting violence in any form, and we encourage anyone who can help the police investigation to come forward.
We remain committed to doing our part to keep Devil’s Hole a safe and welcoming place for everyone.
