The Bermuda Police Service has issued a renewed public appeal for assistance in the ongoing investigation into the deadly incident at Legends Bar. Inspector Jason Smith delivered a statement earlier today, offering critical updates and urging the public to come forward with information that may help bring justice to those affected.
“Yesterday evening, we released footage to the public showing four persons of interest related to the Legends Bar murder investigation,” Inspector Smith stated. “We are grateful for the support we’ve received so far and ask for your continued assistance as inquiries progress.”
Authorities believe one of the men captured in the footage sustained an injury during the incident, and they are asking the public to remain vigilant. “If anyone can identify any of the four men—and in particular, if you recognize someone with a recent injury—we are asking you to contact us immediately,” Smith said.
The Bermuda Police Service reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to justice for the victims. Two individuals lost their lives in the tragedy, and three others were injured. “We understand the pain and suffering these families are enduring, and we are doing everything we can to resolve this matter and bring closure.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Derika Burns, at 717-0921. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 800-8477. Inspector Smith emphasized that community trust is essential: “If there’s a member of our staff you’re comfortable speaking with, please do so. Every piece of information counts.”
The investigation remains active, and police are continuing to follow all leads. Updates will be provided as the case develops.
