Good Friday Garbage Collection Advisory

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to advise the public of the upcoming waste day change due to the Good Friday Public Holiday.

Good Friday will be observed on Friday, 29 March. As a result, Friday’s waste will be collected on Saturday, 30 March.

Recycling collection is unaffected by the Good Friday Holiday, as this is not a recycling collection week.

The Tynes Bay Public Drop-off will be open from 9 a.m. until noon on Friday, 29 March; on all other days, it will be open per the regular schedule from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
