Former Coach Mark Jennings needs Help for Eye Surgery

Former Devonshire Cougars, Hamilton Parish, and Wolves Sports Club head coach Mark “Burger” Jennings requires eye surgery. Currently, he is legally blind.
On August 23rd, he is slated to leave Bermuda for an eye operation. He has had a loan approved by the Lady Cubitt Compassionate Association (LCCA), valued at $7,200.

He will have to make a down payment of $500 to secure the loan. However, the challenging portion of the situation is that he does not have a guarantor, someone who is held accountable that he repays the funds which the LCCA is putting forward for the surgery. Usually, this is done by a family member. However, due to his family losing two key members inside a week, it is very hard to ask them to be the guarantor.

Mr Jennings is reaching out to the general public for a guarantor. The guarantor would be the one to sign on his behalf to ensure he makes the loan payments back to the LCCA, he is in a position on his own merit to make them back.

This is where the problem lies, because part of the loan rules from the LCCA is to have a signed guarantor to ensure they receive the full payment of the loan back.

He has reached out to several politicians for assistance with this matter, but to no avail. Also, another problem is that he spent his whole life assisting others in various compassionate ways, but cannot find help for his urgent matter.

Again, he sincerely reaches out to the public to assist him as the guarantor that ensures that the full loan is paid back to the LCCA, as per their rules. Without the surgery, the window of the operation is closing and he will go totally blind. He has endured this eye condition since 2014.

If anyone can kindly assist in this matter, you can contact him on 705-4139 or via email at sportbermudamag@gmail.com.
With concern, Mark A Jennings
