CedarBridge Academy’s under 15 and over 15 girls’ and boys’ football teams are stepping onto the field in extra style this season, thanks to brand new football kits donated by the promoters of two popular summer events, Catch A Fire and JoyRide.
The donation, made on October 1, 2025, reflects the promoters’ ongoing commitment to supporting youth and community development. Catch A Fire, which featured reggae dancehall artist Busy Signal, and JoyRide, headlined by Juggling J, DJ iBreeze, and the legendary Rory Stone Love, partnered to provide the kits, enhancing CedarBridge Academy’s athletic program and encouraging student participation in sports.
The kits were officially handed over to Ms. Jodi Ming,Facility Manager at CedarBridge Academy, by Jamal Hart and Alex Abbott, promoters of Catch A Fire, alongside Juggling J and DJ iBreeze, who joined the presentation to support the initiative.
Girls’ team co-captain Joy Pitcher said, “The team is excited about the new kits. We will definitely be the best dressed team when we play.”
The new kits will be proudly worn by CedarBridge Academy football teams throughout the upcoming school season, marking a boost in both team spirit and school pride.
