Family Mourns The Loss Of Their Mother, Social Media Post Causing More Pain

A family mourns today after the loss their mother. What makes it even harder for them, however, are voice notes and messages circulating around the community through social media that are not 100 percent accurate.

The message reads as follows: “Uninjected medical cases are being rejected at KEMH. A friend’s mother passed away in their living room, after being refused admission to KEMH.”

According to a close family member who wishes to remain anonymous, the hospital never refused admission to her mother, but requested that an unvaccinated person not bring her to the hospital and, if her condition worsens, to call an ambulance to take her to the hospital.

“ To those who are spreading this false information, let my family mourn,” she begs of the community. “ I’m already traumatized and am going to need counselling, I can’t eat or sleep, so I [certainly] don’t need this extra stuff. [We] can’t take it, “ Please stop with the circulation of this false information and allow my family to mourn.”
