Customers at two Esso Service Stations were treated to a day of promotions, entertainment and prizes today, with more than $10,000 in fuel vouchers and other prizes up for grabs.
The special giveaway was held at the Esso Warwick Service Station and the Esso location on North Shore in Devonshire, as part of a promotion aimed at thanking customers for their continued support.
TNN News spoke with Tyler Jessey involved in today’s promotion, who explained that customers had the opportunity to win a number of prizes, including three $1,000 fuel-voucher grand prizes, two round-trip airline tickets, a two-night stay at Ocean Colony in an ocean-view room, as well as weekly giveaways.
Tyler Jessey said the promotion was also about creating a family-friendly atmosphere, with live entertainment and product samples available throughout the day.
At the Warwick location, customers were entertained by DJ IBREEZE, while DJ Mista Genius provided entertainment at the North Shore location.
Product samples were also being distributed from participating sponsors and businesses.
Asked what continues to make the South Shore Esso location such a popular hotspot, the representative pointed to several factors — including its location, its customers, its staff and its extended operating hours.
The South Shore location operates from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m., 365 days a year, providing customers with extended access compared with many other gas stations.
Jessey also praised the gas station’s staff and loyal clientele, saying the combination of location, service and regular promotions has helped make the station a popular destination.
Today’s promotion ran from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., with the prize draw taking place during the event.
The draw has now been completed, but the winner of the grand prize has not yet been publicly announced.
TNN News understands that the winning information will be released in due course.
