Shortly before 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday 30th November 2022, police received reports of a serious road traffic collision involving two auxiliary cycles near the intersection of Ord Road and Tribe Road number one, Warwick.
A 17-year-old male rider was travelling towards Ord Road and stopped at a stop sign, with the intention to cross the roadway and continue north on Tribe Road number one.
At that time, a 76-year-old female was riding west on Ord Road, and the two vehicles collided.
The woman, who was unresponsive following the collision, was transported by an ambulance which was nearby, before the arrival of police.

Subsequent checks by officers indicated she is now warded in the Intensive Care Unit.
Meanwhile, police are investigating a single vehicle, road traffic collision, which occurred near the junction of Crow Lane and Lane Hill, Pembroke, around 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, 30-Nov-2022.
Upon arrival officers ascertained a 69-year-old male riding a motorcycle was travelling in a southerly direction along East Broadway.
As he approached the junction of Lane Hill, he lost control of the bike and hit the kerb.
This caused the motorcycle to swerve and the rider to fall off the bike, which landed on top of him.
Ambulance personnel arrived and conveyed the victim to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for further medical treatment for injuries which are said to be non-life-threatening.
The incident resulted in delays as traffic was diverted around the scene while it was being forensically processed.
