DWD Launch Learn Through Experience Hospitality Programme

The Department of Workforce Development (DWD) is excited to announce the launch of its Learn Through Experience Hospitality Programme.

In partnership with key industry stakeholders, this bespoke initiative provides Bermudians with an exceptional opportunity and pathway to gain excellent work readiness training and specifically curated hands-on experience in the hospitality sector.

This programme, designed with industry experts, equips participants with the skills and knowledge needed to excel as Front Desk or Room Attendant Specialists.

Over four weeks, in February 2025, individuals will participate in classroom learning, complete local and international online courses and be paired with participating industry partners for an in-person practicum.

The programme aims to add value to Bermuda’s vibrant hospitality industry and potentially launch new career paths!

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Provide proof of Bermuda Status

  • Complete a Statement of Interest

  • Submit a Resume and Cover Letter

  • Provide 1 Reference (professional or character)

  • Commit to completing the entire 4 weeks of training

Registration is open from November 25 to December 9, 2024, and potential candidates can submit their interest via the 2025 Learn Through Experience Hospitality Programme application link.

Spaces are extremely limited, so early submissions are highly recommended to ensure your place in this dynamic and rewarding programme.
