CariGenetics Founder and CEO Dr Carika Weldon will be one of two featured guests during the Genomics Equity Series, a monthly online series hosted by the Diverse Data Initiative at Genomics England on Thursday, 20 April, 2023.
Dr Weldon, along with Charles Kwaku-Odoi, Chief Officer of the Caribbean
and African Health Network (CAHN), will be discussing the topic Engagement and Research within the Caribbean Community.
She will be discussing the lack of inclusion of the Caribbean genome in
global datasets and the role CariGenetics will play in changing this.
