The Department of Public Transportation (DPT) advises the public that there will be bus cancellations tomorrow morning, 13 June 2022, due to a shortage of resources for student transportation.
The Department will redeploy buses to cover the minibus shortage to ensure that school students are transported safely and get to school on time. This will leave some routes not fully covered. The Department is redirecting public bus transportation to minimize the impact on students who will begin examinations starting tomorrow.
Public bus service will continue tomorrow throughout the day. DPT will provide an update on the school transportation tomorrow afternoon.
The Department apologies for any inconveniences caused by the cancellations and urges commuters to make alternative arrangements.
