A 23-year-old Devonshire man appeared in Magistrates’ Court today in connection with the tragic shooting at Legends Bar earlier this month.
Tyrese Lee was formally charged with two counts of murder and seven counts of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, all relating to the violent incident that occurred on May 1st.
Lee was not required to enter a plea, as the charges are indictable and must be heard in the Supreme Court. He was remanded into custody at Westgate Correctional Facility.
Lee’s next court appearance is scheduled for the Monthly Arraignment Session on July 1st in the Supreme Court.
TNN News reported on May 1, four gunmen entered the Sandy’s bar and opened fire, resulting in the deaths of Jasmine Smith and Jaquan Williams, and leaving several others seriously injured.
The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities continuing to seek information related to the other individuals involved in the shooting.
