Recently (Feb. 23), the Deputy Premier, the Hon. Walter Roban and the Minister of National Security the Hon. Renee Ming visited the latest group of soldiers taking part in the first recruit camp of 2022.
Minister Roban and Minister Ming viewed the medic lesson being delivered to the new recruits and also had an opportunity to view the signals and communications lesson.
The Deputy Premier spoke with the troops saying, “I congratulate you all on the completion of your first week of training and I know that when you move on to the next phase of your training, you’ll feel enormous pride in the skills that you have learned.”
Minister Ming added, “I appreciate the choice that you all have made to be here and serve in the Royal Bermuda Regiment. The skills that you develop over the next several years will be useful not only when you are in uniform but also your everyday lives.”
