DAY OF REMEMBRANCE FOR THOSE LOST IN HURRICANE FABIAN

The Hurricane Fabian 18-year Memorial Service scheduled for today Sunday, 5th September 2021, has been postponed.

Instead of the memorial, the organizers are inviting all to pause for a moment of silence wherever you may be today at 2:00 pm in remembrance of those who passed away during Hurricane Fabian on Friday, the 5th of September 2003.

Hurricane Fabian was the strongest hurricane to hit Bermuda since Hurricane Arlene in 1963. It was also the most damaging and the first hurricane to cause deaths due to a hurricane on the island since 1926.
