This morning in Magistrate’s Court, 23-year-old Paget resident Davin Dill was charged with allegedly murdering Joshua Rowse on June 14 of last year, as well as carrying a bladed article in a public place without a good reason or authority to do so on the same date.
Since the matter must be heard in the Supreme Court, Mr. Dill was not required to enter a plea to the indictable offense this morning.
Taking everything into consideration, the Worshipful Senior Magistrate Juan Wolffe granted Mr. Dill bail in the sum of $25,000 and a like surety, as well as the following conditions: that he have no contact with any Crown witnesses, be fitted with an Electronic Monitoring Device as soon as one becomes available, visit the Hamilton Police Station three times a week and stick to a 10pm to 6am curfew.
Magistrate Wolffe sent the case up to the Supreme Court, where it will be mentioned during the November 1st monthly arraignment sessions .
