Curtis Richardson pleads not guilty to causing the death of Marco Warren

Also appearing during todays Arraignment Session was former MP Curtis Richardson.

Mr. Richardson pleaded not guilty to causing the death of popular footballer Marco Warren by driving a vehicle, which had a taxi licence plate, on North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish, without due care and attention on or about May 14th, last year.

Mr. Warren who was 29 at the time of his passing, was found lying on the roadway near the junction of North Shore Road and Trinity Church road around 3:15 a.m. that day.

He was transported to hospital for treatment, but subsequently succumbed to his injuries.

Represented by Attorney Victoria Greening, Mr. Richardson was released on $25,000 bail with a like surety.

He is scheduled to reappear in the Supreme Court on December 27th this year.

The crown is represented in this matter by Mr. Carrington Mahoney of the Department of Public Prosecutions.
