Curfew Breacher Ordered to Complete 150 Service Hours

In Magistrate’s Court, yesterday Shawn Simmons appeared again for sentencing for breaching COVID-19 curfew regulations earlier this year.

Having pled guilty to breaching curfew on Wednesday April 21, Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo ordered that Court Services conduct a Social Inquiry Report about Mr. Simmons and adjourned the case to yesterday, May 17.

Finding him eligible to complete community service hours, Magistrate Tokunbo ordered Mr. Simmons to complete 150 service hours. The court will review his progress on those hours on Tuesday, July 20.
