On Friday, July 25, Premier David Burt welcomed Dr. Sandy De Silva and Ms. Jennifer Wild of the Family Centre to the Cabinet Office for the presentation of this year’s Cup Match ribbons.
The ribbon campaign is an annual initiative tied to the Cup Match holiday, with proceeds supporting the Family Centre’s work with children and families across the island. Clarien Bank supports the effort by distributing the ribbons through its branches and helping to raise awareness.
Premier Burt said, “I encourage members of the public to support this campaign by wearing their team colours and contributing to the Family Centre’s important services.”
Ribbons are available island-wide in team colours, with all funds going toward the Centre’s therapeutic and community programmes.
